GP or Nurse Practitioner Appointments

Please contact the surgery on the day that works best for you — today or tomorrow
Monday to Friday (excluding bank holidays)

You can contact us in any of the following ways:

  • Online: Use Accurx, available 8:00am to 6:00pm

  • By phone: Call 01538 399152, 8:00am to 6:30pm

  • In person: Speak to our reception team, 8:00am to 6:30pm

When you contact us, we’ll ask a few questions about what you need help with.

This helps us make sure you’re seen by the most appropriate doctor, nurse, or healthcare professional as quickly as possible.

Need help when we’re closed? See NHS 111 online or call 111. In an emergency, call 999

Routine Appointments

Book a routine appointment for things like long-term condition checks, smears, vaccinations, health checks, or medication reviews with a pharmacist.

You can contact us in any of the following ways:

  • Online: Use Accurx, available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week

  • By phone: Call 01538 399152, Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 6:30pm

  • In person: Speak to our reception team, Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 6:30pm

When you contact us, we’ll ask a few questions about your needs.

This helps us ensure you’re booked with the right healthcare professional and receive the best care for your ongoing health.

However you choose to contact us, we may offer you a consultation:

  • by phone
  • face to face at the surgery
  • on a video call
  • by text or email

 

If you need help with your appointment

Please tell us:

  • if there’s a specific doctor, nurse or other health professional you would prefer to respond
  • if you would prefer to consult with the doctor or nurse by phone, face-to-face, by video call or by text or email
  • if you need an interpreter
  • if you have any other access or communication needs

Cancelling or changing an appointment

To cancel your appointment:

  • use your NHS account (through the NHS website or NHS App)
  • use Patient Access
  • phone us on 01538 399 152, Monday to Friday from 8am to 6:30pm
  • By text following the link in your reminder text

If you need help when we are closed

If you need medical help now, use NHS 111 online or Call 111.

NHS 111 online is for people aged 5 and over. Call 111 if you need help for a child under 5.

Call 999 in a medical or mental health emergency. This is when someone is seriously ill or injured and their life is at risk.

Home visits

Home visits are available for patients who are unable to leave their home due to health reasons. To request a home visit, we recommend contacting the surgery as early as possible after 8 am. You can reach us online via Accurx (8:00 am–6:00 pm) or by phone on 01538 399152 (8:00 am–6:30 pm).

A member of the home visit team will contact you first to understand your needs.
